Stumbled upon this place today. Absolutely beautiful. Flying 40 min visit, so didn’t get a proper chance to explore it all. Thank you for your enclosed dog run - absolute joy for my two (and me). Would be perfect with a bench or two. Only gripe is with whoever used it before us and didn’t pick up their dog’s deposit!! Bad form, especially when it’s such a cared after place. Can’t wait to go back

Clean and open public space with good parking and a great secure dog field area for off-lead play. Free toilets, and a playground area. Open grass area for play or picnic and plenty of benches. Great views and an all round lovely park area.

Free carpark perfectly situated for many walking routes up and around Weet hill. First time we walked up from the canal and into the park. Second time parked here to go up Weet hill.

Although this is a good place to go to walk your dog or take your children its a bit tatty round the edges and its the little things that count. Theres an ace ampitheatre which would benefit from having some large trees removed and some plays or bands put on. Also the gate to the doggy exercise field has a gap underneath you could get a doberman through. There are loos and one of those plaques mounted at a view point that tells you what you can see up to 20 odd miles away only no one thought to keep the trees and shrubs trimmed so you could actually see the things it points at. Just a little thought and this would be...

Love it here, visit most mornings with my two labs. There are both child and dog designated areas (for those with anti social or working dogs). There are public loos, but I haven't used them. Amazing views all around, picnic benches and a mix of picnic and landscaped areas. There are also hiking trails leading away from the park, but your dog would need to be on a lead for those as there is sometimes...
