Marsden Park — Attraction in Borough of Pendle

this is a beautiful, well laid out park. many interesting pathways to walk, historical areas and buildings within also it has tennis courts, children's safe playarea, picnic area, lots of benches to sit on, beautiful flower beds and wooded areas to walk through. Many species of butterflies and birds are to be seen, along with flowers growing wild in all seasons. Beautifully kept park, with great lawns, flowers, exotic-looking trees. The Old Marsden Hall adds an interesting historical dimension, although it’s not especially well looked after, with rubbish visible behind the stable gates. Nice little park with plenty of interesting features with information points detailing them. Pleasant clean paths suitable for prams and plenty seats along each. The cafe is delightful and seem to cater from sweet to savory and has a lovely outdoor seating area which is quite private from passers by. Car park is limited but on the road is possible if full.
