Weald Country Park is an impressive & picturesque country park with over 550 acres of diverse landscapes - Wildflower Meadows, Open Grasslands, Grazing Land, Forests, Woodlands, Hills, Mounds, Lakes and Ponds! The Weald Country Park dates back to 12th Century as a medieval deer park! It is well-known to many because of the famous and beloved character Stickman Play Trail. It has many hidden treasures too - Fallow Deer 🦌 Enclosure, Wild Deers 🦌 , Wildlife, Heritage Site of Iron Age Hill Fort dating back to 50AD, Belvedere Mound & Folly dating back to 18th Century! The Weald has many hills boasting spectacular panaromic views across the horizon where green meets blue with scattered white clouds! Belvedere Field has a gradient slope towards the picturesque lakes - a perfect green carpet for enjoying a picnic, and busking in the sun ☀! The Chestnut Avenue in the midst of The Forest created through plantations is an outstanding impressive area for gentle stroll walking through the woods discovering wildlife, ancient woods. There are plenty of trees playing hide and seek with the sun. It is a place for all the family to explore the forest and play with branches, logs, leaves under the canopies of trees! Visitor Centre has a gift shop and a café serving hot drinks, snacks, and hot foods! You can purchase food pack for deers to feed them in the deer enclosure! All terrain mobility scooter can be hired for free from the Visitor Centre - booking in advance is essential! There is a fenced area allocated for cattle grazing as a means of natural conservation! Visitors are allowed to walk through the grazing area! The Weald still the home for wild deers! If you're lucky you can see the wild deers in the Forest, Woodlands and Mounds! The Weald has very well interconnected walking and cycling trails throughout the park! Some parts of trails are very challenging due to the elevation and slopes! Trails are very made of compacted with pebbles and earth making it easier for walking and cycling! Some parts of the trails are prone to be muddy and soft during bad weather! The park is very well-equipped with information board across the park making it easy for everyone to learn about The Weald and navigate around the park! One key important information is not stated in the information boards and in the website - elevation of the trail! It could be very difficult for people with pushchairs, wheelchairs, mobility restrictions to climb up/down these elevated trails! Stickman Play Trail has many elevated trails including mounds and hills, but very sadly, nowhere it warns people about steep elevation of the trail! It would be really helpful and very sensible for all visitors to have the elevation of trail is clearly identified enabling visitors to make informed decision of how to navigate around according to their abilities! There are 4 car 🚙 🅿 parks at Weald - Visitor Centre Car Park, Belvedere Car Park & Cricket Ground Car Park off Weald Road and Lincolns Lane Car Park! Car Parking Tariff applies to all car including Blue Badge Holders! All Car Parks have toilets including accessible disabled ♿ 🚽 Toilets and Baby Changing Areas - this is absolutely amazing! It surely increases the accessibility for all ages and abilities visiting the Country Park.

This is a nice country park located near Brentwood. There is a few car parks, one of which is the main one with the visitor centre. We paid £4.40 for up to 3 hours which was ample enough to do the stickman trail with the kids albeit a tad expensive for a country park. The visitor centre has a cafe, toilets etc. The trail itself wasn't as easy to follow as expected, but its not a massive place so not overly difficult. Kids seemed to enjoy elements of it but it is in need of a bit of TLC in places. If you go when its wet, take boots, it gets muddy! Also, if going in half term etc. then be prepared for the people who can't seem to drive round a car park or park their car correctly... we saw many near misses...

One of the best of Brentwood multiple county parks and probably one of the biggest. Excellent for summer night chilled walks after work. It has multiple terrain so you can walk through fields, alongside the massive water features, through woodlands or up and down hills. Plenty of seating options to be found along the entire route. During prime hours somewhere to get a coffee or an ice cream. Easy to park, with a couple of toilet venues. Having been walking this park since 2001 I still find new things, this is not a park you’ll get to walk in its entirety in just one day, it needs repeated visits over time. One tree falls a new world opens, making variety the order of the day when visiting.

Great country park located not far from the M25. There is a deer park (you can get food from the cafe) and plenty of room for kids of all ages to explore and have fun. There is a large lake in the middle of the park, a trail based on The Stick Man (unfortunately the star gazing hammocks are now missing) and lots of woods to explore. There are a couple of toilet blocks and a small cafe. We also enjoyed an ice cream from the visiting van. The only negative was the car park. The charges aren't bad (£5.50 for over 3 hours) but three of the four machines were not working properly and the mobile app was also not working.

Visited WealdCountry Park for a 5k walk in All Trails. The park was lovely, massive bluebell woods that will probably be at their best in a couple of weeks. Majestic old oak trees, pond with geese and other water birds. I saw ahead of fallow deer running through the woods, and there are also deer in an enclosure. Parking is pay and display. Children's play area and it looked like there were trails for kids to follow. Paths I walked in were trails through grass or woodland. Very enjoyable. I will go back again to see the bluebells in a week or so. Good for dog walking, and walking generally.
