I moved from there 2015 after living there since1999. I do miss the nature reserve. But in 2011 onwards it was neglected by the council horses used to dig up walkways dog pooo everywhere people starting to live in tents as my back gate opened up and was in the woods...The place went downhill in parts. But Beeses was good that part was lovely. Would do love to know what this like now as I'm the other side of the river when you look across the water near that big chimney. Wish there was a place ground bugalow or type of place I could move back to,but I know there isn't... Great place though lovely...

Such a site with plenty of open fields to explore and adventure. Take a walk along the watermeadows and you could see swans, kingfishers, coots, buzzards, squirrels, herons, mallards, moorhens, and much more. Formerly farmland, part of the site was used for landfill in the 1970s and there was a plan to build a road acoss it. Now it is a beautiful open space enjoyed by people and wildlife. Definitely...

Was a gorgeous place to go for daily walks with the kids. Now it's become student party central (with no toilets..so don't go walking in the woods. Or anywhere really unless you like stepping in human waste!). Rubbish/burnt out bbq's dumped everywhere. A lot of the wildlife has been scared off. Absolutely ruined. Entire local area is now just a giant car park/smashed...

It’s a perfect place for camping, fishing take your dog out A little wilderness spot still untouched and 100% exploited, I love fishing and I tried this new place not for huge catches just to relax and I was enjoying a weekend with my friends next time I think I'll stay overnight and I'll make a camp fire ( a small one:)) 5*

Beautiful place, part of the Avon Valley. You can walk by the river and ponds or in the woods. Lots of wildlife, in the ponds there are nearly always ducks, swans and often herons. I've seen quite a few cormorants along the river too. Kingfisher are said to live along the river too...I did see a flash of turquoise once!
