Lovely place for locally sourced meats. Clean bright shop with lovely friendly and helpful staff.

I’ve been trying to get away from supermarket meats because of all the preservatives they add to make it all look nice, but these preserves are not really helpful to the human body.

I’m also an advocate of local businesses, I hate seeing all of the High Streets having the same shops in every town and city , whilst smaller businesses have been slowly dying over the years.

Therefore I feel that it is important to support shops like this. And whilst it’s easier for me to pop to the supermarket, I will be coming here...

made the switch to hanham butchers from my previous butchers after family recommendations. bought a couple of ribeyes and a sirloin, cut the thickness i wanted. owner even had a good chat with my about my car he saw me pull up. super friendly no nonsense butchers. meat was fantastic, bright red rich meat unlike anything you can buy in the supermarket, marinated all 3 steaks myself and just finished off the last one tonight. will be back in tuesday to pick...

Excellent butchers with quality produce all round. Their burgers are to die for and their customer service is bang on. They went out of their way to mince the skirt that I wanted which not all butchers will do that I’ve been to. In addition, within a week they got back to me with my order or pheasants and partridge that they ordered in specially per my request and all for a very reasonable price!
