The highlight for us was finding out that the literary icon and Nobel prize winner John Steinbeck lived in Bruton for some time. They even have his writing desk! Well curated and welcoming. Nice little museum, run by friendly volunteers. It might be small, but it is full of local history and stories. Great introduction to Bruton. And so nice to chat to the volunteer lady when we visited. We stayed for an hour as we found so many interesting things. Thank...
