Pendarves Wood best entered via lodge gate opposite the junction with Botetoe Rd and the B3303. There is a little on road parking opposite the lodge, the walk is a there and back walk but there are two parallel paths. The going is very flat but quite low lying so can be a bit boggy especially after rain. So probably not a smart trainer walk, the wood is kept quite wild apart from the paths. If you are lucky you could see otters, deer and many birds, there is a lake water birds , frogs and newts. The walk is probably a mile long, there are no facilities nothing more than a few benches here and there. Good for children pretty safe apart from water hazards. Really nice...

A perfect hot day to visit and walk around the paths of these wonderful woods. The fluorescence of the green leaves, the vibrant colour of the foxgloves and wild Orchids, the cacophony of wonderful wild birds, and the coolness of the breeze through the trees was a perfect escapism from such a hot sun. If you walk from from Treslothlan Church through the woods, you come across a field, called Pip’s field. You’ll notice on the bottom of the field there was a huge quoit find couple of other antiquity’s of interest. Just a wonderful diversion from a busy and...

Small nature reserve on the outskirts of Camborne run by Cornwall Wildlife Trust. Has a couple of well maintained paths through the woods which run alongside a small stream. There's a lake in the middle which is a haven for wildlife too. A really pretty little place to while away a couple of hours (max) Couple of points tho - no toilet facilities, no car park as such (altho parking off road in a lane) and I would suggest wheelchairs /pushchairs would be...

Kids love this place. Great in the sunshine and the rain. Lake up the top end, home to a swan and a few ducks. The walk is easy along the main path and kids can ride their bikes.
