So, despite the listing saying the museum is open in January, it's not. I've just taken an elderly chap with dementia to visit this place, having had a 50 mile drive to it. The place has several signs saying it's open (one tiny one saying it's closed until April that is clearly missed, that was rudely pointed out to us after we were thrown out) and the doors were open. This suggested to me that... It's open. We went up to the first floor to the museum and started to look around. A few minutes later an incredibly rude chap came up and said 'oh, we're closed, leave'. No pleasantries, no listening to us that we'd easily made a mistake and pointed out that everything was open and indicated it. Just... 'get out'. I go to a lot of museums and I can honestly say I've never wanted to punch any of the staff that I've ever encountered until today! The attitude of the staff here was disgusting and especially with an elderly chap who was confused and distressed, a little decency wouldn't go amiss....
