A nice quiet park to walk the family and dogs. Has its own homemade swing in the woods, which all the family enjoyed. Young and old alike. Beautiful lake with lots of wildlife. If you need somewhere to gather your thoughts...this is the place to be. Great for everyone.

Idea for walking our retriever, who loves the openess and Woodlands ,also drains away quiet well, which helps!

I use to be a regular visitor at Hylands Park but after introduction of parking charges I have never returned and neither will I while the charges are in place. I have since found Gallerywood Common, what a lovely place. Beautiful woods, fields, ponds a great place for everyone. There is a tea room offering hot and cold drinks and home baked cakes, run by lovely ladies all of whom are volunteers, very welcoming and friendly. Parking is free with ample space. I am now a regular of the common and would not return to Hylands Park as it comes across as second rate in comparison. Well done and thank you to all the commons volunteers you do a...

A great place to go, to let the kids run wild. There's a good variety of park equipment for all ages. They have tennis courts, netball, football pitches. There is plenty of free parking and toilets in the centre. Depending on the time of year, there is a little duck pond, when it's not marshy. They have a free accessible exercise area with a selection of equipment including bars. They also have a little woodland area at the back that my children love to explore. This is a nice place to picnic...
