Cowdray Park Polo Club — Attraction in Chichester

The Polo itself was excellent. I didn't personally visit the stands in the central area, so can't comment on them this year. Last year, I did and the offerings were a little pricy, but good quality. This year, I felt that there were not enough toilets in the area around the marquees, on the side of the pitch opposite to the castle. Getting out of the grounds after the match was a challenge. 40 minutes from parking position to the road - very frustrating... Great match though,...

There is always a stunning walk to be had here. In summer months you can watch players from all over the world compete and if you can get tickets to the gold cup it's well worth it. Everyone from royalty and film stars to locals and tourists mix to watch a highlight of the polo calendar. In quieter months the younger local teams have matches. You can walk around the area and peruse the cowdray shops..they include a teashop, farm shop, excellent...

Visiting for the Summer Midhurst Town Cup day was a delightful experience. Once again top rank polo played out in plain sight and with public commentary. Well worth checking out what games are planned before you make Midhurst a day out as for very little cost you can enjoy the Polo too. Just make sure you know which pitch is being used.
