easy to find and we’ll sign posted. Good access and parking - there is a bar across the entrance but I got my vivaro in no problem (I have no roof rack tho so bare in mind and check before you try) Lovely walks and views and some lovely wildlife to spot and see; including some of the biggest cows; British Whites; I’ve ever seen in my life who roam freely across the common. You could easily spend the day exploring the heath lands and looking at the beautiful heathers, trees, birds, bugs and being at one with nature. We also enjoyed a nice picnic here although we sat on the floor as no picnic benches and then walked out lunch off with our puppy. Nice place to visit especially if you like walking or taking photos.

A wild place available to all and close to Petersfield and Midhurst. Birch, pines and boggy places provide an opportunity to watch birdlife or see the seasons change. Ponds provide places to reflect, on the landscape vegetation and pond life. Good parking places allow you to park safely and walk your dog or introduce your children to the great outdoors. No toilets and not really wheelchair accessible, even on the paths which criss cross the Commons. The area is grazed so beware of cattle and keep your dog under control please. Watch the sky and enjoy finding cloudscapes to add interest to your memories or photographic mementos.

Iping Common is vastly large & is next to the carpark (free) Ideal for walking (with dogs), horse & bike riding, fabulous views with beautiful ferns & heathers Stedham Common, on the other side of the carpark is also vastly large, with slighty bigger trees, has a body of water (no access to the public) Aylings garden centre & tea room is a couple of minutes down the road (by car) A bin in the carpark would be nice

Stargazing at Iping and staying and exploring the amazing national park had been the bestest decision of this year. Honestly, if you plan ahead for the stargaze and go on the "no moon " day that would be the best. It is one of the dark cites in UK and I literally felt like laying under the milky way ✨ I highly recommend to explore Iping to those who love nature. Note : be prepared to prevent yourself from...
