It can be a bit nerve racking at first, just by the distance from the water and only a waiste hight barrier stopping you from falling off and vibrations on the bridge as a bus passes, but the views and the fresh air is vigarratting. Plus you get to stretch the legs. It's surprising how little time it takes to cross over and back. But I would watch out for speeding cyclists coming up from behind, they dont slow down. So I try and stick to the designated walking area. I would make sure you have a good toilet break as there is nothing on route. But there is Mcdonlds on the south side, ideal for a pit stop and then walk back. Its bucket...
