We visited this at the end of our Northumberland holiday, it's a great use of land that otherwise would just be waste land.
Gravel paths all round, great for dog walking, the view points lead to good views of the surrounding countryside.
Unfortunately you don't really get high enough to appreciate the whole figure from one point in my opinion.
Plenty of bins on the path leading to the figure.
A bug hunt for children in amongst the trees just after the cafe.
Great cafe, staff very friendly, a wide choice of food, drinks and cakes available.
Plenty of car parking available when we visited early Saturday morning, but the car park is a good size.

Read moreA large, free car park and no admission charge to visit Northumberlandia. There is, however, a prominent donation bucket to help with the upkeep of the site. Walking past the visitor centre (which has toilets around the back), through a small wood takes you to Northumberlandia, a large earth sculpture of a woman. There are well laid out paths to take you up to the top (well worth it for the view) and around the rest of the site. It is a nice way to pass and hour or so, great for the kids to have a run around.
