Simon G. 23rd May 2024. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Bonython Garden Estate today. We had no trouble finding it, and parking was easy, with tree cover providing shade for a good number of cars if needed. Dogs are welcome. The gardener responsible for taking admission fees was friendly, knowledgeable, approachable, and a pleasure to meet. (A credit to his employers). Although he couldn't quite accept Extra Strong Mints as legal tender, he gladly accepted one as a light-hearted gratuity, made a fuss of our Weimaraner (which she always enjoys), and helped us identify the Thalictrum (Meadow rue) that shimmered entertainingly in the breeze. There were little tea rooms which were very quaint and lots of interesting photos of the gardens along the way to becoming what they are now. I’m not usually a huge fan of gardens but I would highly recommend a visit when the flowers are in bloom - it...
