Really beautiful, I plan to go back again to walk the dogs. Parking is currently £6 for the day which is reasonable for the time you could spend there! We kept finding different routes and chopping and changing, but it was very easy to follow a single path! Very busy and all social distancing seemed to disappear with very few people wearing facemasks in the toilets.

Fantastic views from the top of Old Pale Hill, well worth a visit. Park at the visitors Centre and make your way up from there. It’s good steady walk, not a climb. On a clear day the view from the top is amazing, clear views into five counties. Enjoy coffee and a cake in the visitors centre, where you will find nice clean well maintained toilet facilities.

Beautiful, peaceful, tranquil and visually expensive. Easy accessible walk. I've seen old people, young people, hikers, walkers, runners, and everyone in-between up here. Plenty of seating but as it's a 360° view then it can get windy so bring a light jacket.

Had a wonderful walk up here the other day. Path is wide but at the moment a little muddy with wet leaves. I had a walking stick and felt perfectly secure. There are a few ways up and the route we took from the visitor centre was uphill all the way and a little steep in places but nothing a moderately active person couldn't handle. My son is recovering from a heart attack so we took it very slowly. The view at the top is stunning and made more interesting by all the geographical information showing the orientation of various other places. We took a path down on the opposite side and this was a...

Really nice area. Views across to North Wales, from the top, on a clear day. Some good walking routes nearby including the Delamere Loop and the Sandstone Trail. Plenty of parking in the forest car parks. Parking at the main visitor centre is a bit steep (£4 for three hours). Worth stopping at the station (at the junction with Delamere Road) for an ice cream or to eat...
