Lovely cafe, icecream kiosk & surrounding craft shops. The Hot House Ceramics, run by Terry Nason is worth exploring. Some lovely pots on display perfect for presents. Also does one:one tutorials on throwing and glazing pottery. The main problem is finding the courtyard. Signs not very helpful. Access is both via an alley way off the main High Street and from inside Sudbury Hall grounds.

Would definitely recommend the cafe in the courtyard here. Absolutely beautiful food and friendly staff, clean and tidy. This is the second time we've visited recently and it's lovely. The shops are lovely too, beautiful flowers, homeware and a potter and rocking horse maker too. Lovely little find 😊

A lovely setting adjacent to Sudbury Hall. Stone pebbled paths. Fabulous "Sweet Little Café", with a handful of Art, Crafts and Antique shops around the courtyard. Can get busy in warmer weather and overcrowded with cyclists

Lovely little courtyard with some nice shops. Aovely organic baby clothes shop and a gift shop that sells some unique things that would be great as gifts for the special people in your life. The cafe was lovely the staff were friendly and accommodating in the cafe they also sold bread and things to take home. Unfortunately we got there just after 10 and a few of the shops weren't open the craft shop which we were particularly interested in going in, the iron monger and the old toy shop. I can imagine it is lovely in summer and look forward to visiting again with friends and family to enjoy some quality...

Visited yesterday and tearoom was very quiet, one section of the tearoom was shut which unfortunately meant we were sat with the other tables with dogs all around us. This was okay but it would been nice if the waitress would have asked us first if we were happy to be seated there . The cake selection was poor and when my coconut and jam slice came, it was the smallest portion ever. Such a shame used to love coming here for the lovely cakes On a positive note the staff were friendly and the...

We're regular visitors to Sudbury Hall, and weren't aware that the adjacent historic buildings had been restored and opened as a delightful retail shopping outlet and café - until a friend informed us. So, instead of heading straight for the Hall, we thought we'd better check it out. We were both very impressed, especially as you can wander through directly to the Hall grounds. Hardly surprising then, that it's recently won a Building...
