Part of the Jurassic coast trail, which starts in Exmouth and continues on along the coast to the east. After coming from Exmouth, will reach the Sandy Bay mobile home area, there will be a Costa there, a shopping area etc, with facilities, perfect for refreshments. Going down the stairs you can visit the beach, which is usually crowded when sunny. The trail continues around the edge of the mobile home park, between it and a military facility, and is well signed. It thrn goes on the edge of the cliff to Budleigh Beach. Most of this part has unprotected cliff edges, which can be unstable, so avoid walking too close to the edge, keep an eye on children, and keep animals on a leash.
