Rob at Raceworld replied with a quote for my Birthday race day within a few hours giving me all the info that I needed. I booked the Open Grand Prix event for myself plus 8 friends. Raceworld made us all feel very welcome indeed, the staff made the day a lot of fun whilst taking a very clear and firm approach to safety. The briefing was very well conveyed to everyone racing. After the qualifying laps the staff offered us individual tips to improve our lap times which definitely helped all of us. The racing was organised very well, 'like clockwork' it could be said. I've seen reviews on Google criticising Raceworld but it absolutely must have been those customers that were at fault, one review stated that they got out of the Kart while on the track; absolutely mental, it's so obvious that you must never ever do that! There's no chance that they possibly could have been left on the track stationary for 15mins; on our race day the Marshalls got to ppl that spun out as quickly as they possibly could (30 seconds absolute max). Yep a few of us got warning boards to stop bumping and to slow down, you just have to respect and obey them. Drifting around the corners ruins your lap times anyway so it paid to ease off the gas a touch. Plus bumping totally slows you down as well! The guys that run Raceworld were all very professional throughout. I've been back since to race again as they've had some great deals with the Madness Karting and Reverse Madness Karting times! I've seen on Facebook this week that they've just had brand new karts delivered, so i'll be making a trip down there to race again as soon as...

Turned up as a group event, for a “super prix” and was by far the worst circuit I’ve been too. Staff were rude and largely unhelpful for most of the event. Just interested in shutting up and going home for the evening despite booking weeks in advance. Minimal time in between sessions, 10 minute practice, 10 minute qualifying and then supposedly a 20 lap race. Was promised more laps with more of us if we attended to increase race laps to 25. Got minimal time out in circuit, and race went to 17 laps before the chequered flag came out despite 1 yellow flag all race.
I took my own lid, however a few in the group complained that the insides of the helmet was dirty and struggled with the dirt on the visor. Overall the whole experience was rather bleak and left a lot of us feeling rather let down. Didn’t even get a thanks, or any parting gestures. We had the session booked from 8:45 till 11 and we were out of the door about 9:50 and certainly not the length of time that was promised to us.
The only positive from the whole circuit was that the toilets were clean and sanitary.
Hope Raceworld acknowledge this or get in contact as all left angry and confused in...
Read moreSadly such a bad experience in the practice and qualifying sessions that I didn't take part in the race as I was too badly injured and my confidence was so low after being constantly rammed and knocked out of the way. I have raced several times before and done rally driving and quad biking so not a complete novice and never had this kind of experience. The marshals did nothing about the constant contact, they had been complaining about the previous group taking no notice of them but they said our group was fine. Both my husband and I have sore/bruised or possibly fractured ribs as he was also barged a few times. There were 5 lads who joined in after the safety briefing and I don't know if they were known to the owners and just brought in to make up numbers as it was very quiet, only 7 of us had booked in but then there were suddenly 12 of us. I won't be going back and my birthday weekend is now spoiled as won't be able to go horse riding as planned and I'm in a great deal of pain. The owners were apologetic but I mentioned after first session there was a lot of contact but no action was taken, they were very nice and helpful in...
