This is a lovely little railway. We visited during a classic vehicles day which added some time to our visit, but we were mainly here to take my son on his first stream train and we all thoroughly enjoyed!
The journey itself is around 20 minutes up the track and back and we saw some heady wildlife while in board. There was an enclosed carriage and an open one. The open one was a WW1 style carriage so I'm not sure if this was only there during the event or if it is normally on show.
The ticket price for the railway was £1 each which is a brilliant price, especially considering the overheads they have to pay to keep it running.

Read moreDefinitely one for the enthusiasts and situated on a camping site (Skegness Water Leisure Park). This single line railway is run by volunteers and has been well maintained. The older gentlemen running the site were very helpful and great with families. Letting my kids take part, setting onto the engine and having a go blowing the train whistle.
