Great place to see. From Durdle Door to Lulworth Cove beautiful and peaceful. Nice walk but beware a lot of stairs and quite steep on the way back. Lovely little village with many restaurants to chose from and ice cream place etc. Durdle Door is worse seeing. Crafted by nature and standing proud. Stairs to go down to the beach as well.

A trip down memory lane to this most beautiful coastline was marred by the extortionate car parking charge of £12.40. This is ostensibly to cover the three sites of The Cove, Durdle Door and The Castle. However, The Castle is closed on Fridays, the day that we visited, which made the charge seem even worse. Total rip off.

Stunning country estate with an English Heritage castle, five miles of Jurassic coast, Durdle Door and Lulworth coast. Fantastic walking, great tea, coffee and breakfast stops. Stunning all year round…

Have to agree with other reviews here, parking charges are an absolute disgrace at lulworth cove. Obviously they have increased substantially recently and the number of cars parked on the road leading down to lulworth cove are testament to this. How the estate can justify the ridiculous charges is beyond me. Maybe they could use the extortionate amounts of money they are amassing from unsuspecting day trippers to actually build a carpark rather than the gravel field they expect us to leave our cars in now. Not that we will be returning...

Rip off parking! £12.40 for 4-hours is frankly extortionate. The option of just 1-hour for £3.10, which the owners know isn’t long enough so people are likely to inadvertently run over on time, is cynical. Compound this with the fact that no signs displaying the pricing are visible in the car before you park and you’ll understand our frustration and feeling of exploitation, and that land owners are profiteering from natural phenomena that people should be able to enjoy at...
