They feed on fears and sorrows, it is said, Their appetite for darkness leaves hearts dread, But in this eerie realm, a balance found, For life and death in nature's dance are bound.

A nice country walk in a water and woodland landscape. We found it took about 30 mins to walk around with no stops. There are a couple of hides to stop at, including one with bird feeders. Volunteers meet there every Wednesday morning. A sign on the entrance says that dogs are not welcome inside the reserve, but a public path down towards the river still means that dog walkers can enjoy...
