Great for all ages, we went as part of a work and family picnic, in the pouring rain yes it was raining cats and dogs. Though I can't physically go on the Go Ape course, I did follow our group about taking photos of them having a ball whilst luckily being kept relatively dry from the tree canopy. A variety of courses range from zip wires, sky ropes, nets, air bridges etc. Full grown adults ranging from 19 to 59 yrs old brill fun made for some great shots being a outdoor photographer that part made the social side of it enjoyable it took them nearly 2 hrs to get about the different areas costing £33 per person yes I nearly fainted when hubby divulged it to me after but you need to remember there isn't really any time constraints so can take as much time needed for the more nervous participants and obviously the go ape need to cover insurance and there are lots of instructors about and on hand if any questions are raised or people messing about. Great afternoon had by all. We had a large portable gazebo in the field next to the play park covering the two picnic tables had pulled together for thoughs who didn't want to take part but wanted to attend the picnic and company. There are toilets located at this end of the country park. All that took part and them that just watched said they would definitely do it again soon.

It was very busy on Saturday 2nd September and pretty much fully booked up... It was good to get out and about as it was a nice day. Only issue... Due to being so busy we were the last session of the day and it took over 3hours to complete. I would suggest as section 4 is usually very busy due to the jump into the net... That staff should direct waiting participants to do another quieter section. This was the case at moors valley. This section took over an hour if waiting... They did have water at this section so a bonus. There is nothing really else to do but wait. Maybe put some puzzles up to keep entertainment... Or allow participants to go back to quieter sections provided no queue obviously. Section 3 had no one on it and we still needed to wait for section 4 for over an hour. I would suggest going when not fully booked up or try to pick a session before a sold out session. I do believe that for £35 per person there should be something else to keep occupied while waiting.. especially as it was a long wait. Maybe a puzzle/game board... At each section? Or the busy sections? It's something that can remain in place, is a talking point for participants and distracts from a long wait. Just a thought.

This place is a must! The staff are extremely friendly and walk you through everything step by step. When you first arrive you can book in and get your wristband. Then you read the safety rules for your specific trail and head down there. Once there your harness is fitted by the staff and you are given a further safety briefing. For the treetop adventure there are 2 sections, both designed with kids in mind. The first is easy enough for first timers and gets you comfortable with the height. Then the second is more challenging with free moving obstacles and a longer trail. At the end of both you can use the zip line or you can choose to skip the course and use the zip line only. Myself (27), my mum (54), my niece (8) and her friend (8) all had a fantastic time and we will definitely be going back.

Me and my partner went to go ape yesterday and had a fantastic time!

We were greeted by Vaughan and he was approachable, professionally freindly and knowledgeable. I had, had an awful morning due to car sickness and Vaughan made me forget all about that! He honestly made such a big difference to the start of our go ape day because he general had such natural customer service skills and put me at ease and I was then truly excited for the day.

After this we were greeted by our safety talk guide (apologies I didn't catch his name due to my own fault) but for reference he has very lovely curly hair!

He was also fantastic at his job and was very informative and knowledgeable on the whole safety talk, not boring, not dragged out but exactly what you need to learn the safety side of things and get going!

The activitie it's self was brilliant me and my partner really enjoyed our day and had lots of fun throughout the course !

It's perfect for somthing different for a date day, or even a family activitie as long as the kids are old/tall enough. Well worth the money!

You will not regret going, if you don't mind a bit of an interactive day, even a little rain didn't ruin it, personally I actually perfered the rain as it made it more exciting to us!

Again thank you so much to all the staff there including the girl who took are harnesses off at the end, also very lovely women! (Long hair, incredible perfume, hopefully not weird to say as I asked her about it when we were there 😅)

All in all 100% would recommend ! And thank you again to Vaughan for being so...

Had a Blast! - My daughter had recently been invited to a birthday party at Go Ape Southampton and had been a little apprehensive about going (having never done anything like this before). She tried her best but was a little scared to do the Treetops Adventure Plus route. The staff could not have been nicer and understanding and let her stay on the "easier" stages. I promised that I would bring her back and build up her confidence to attempt the Adventures Plus course - so today was the day. First off again compliments to the staff, they are so friendly and I felt went above and beyond the expectations of providing good customer service. Again we asked to start off on the easier course which was no issue. After going through Stage 1 a couple of times we progressed on Stage 2, then Stage 3 and all the time the instructors were cheering us on. We had just enough time to attempt Stage 4 (which is the Adventures + level) and we completed it feeling like we really achieved something. I think in the end I was actually more scared than my daughter! Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Go Ape, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves today and thank you to all the kind and supportive members of the team - especially Amy who kept checking in on us to make sure my daughter was ok. Fantastic day out, highly recommend it. My daughter left saying that we will do the Treetop Challenge next, but luckily I don't think she's tall enough or old enough for that yet, so I have a few more years to build my...
