Woodland Cafe — Restaurant in Eastleigh

Sorry to say the Cafe is neither well designed or very efficient.

Not that busy but 20 mins to order another 30 minutes waiting wasn't great.

Nothing flows, cold drinks are no where near the tills etc, condiments hidden behind queuing people, nobody seemed charged with cleaning tables, condiments area or replenishing ketchup etc.

Food was OK but jacket potato which apparently caused the delay was virtually cold.

Could be so much better.

Putting squeezy bottles of ketchup out with so many kids about...

The cafe is located in Itchen Valley Country Park , it is on your left as you enter the car parking areas. You have to pay to park! There is plenty of seating in & out, with a large play area for children, toilets & a dog wash. You can buy hot & cold food & the usual hot & cold drink offerings. It can get busy & there can be queues that unfortunately move slowly. During covid they had a kiosk, maybe this could be opened again at busier times. A great place to sit & have a cuppa after a stroll around...

A lovely little café staffed by a young and friendly team. I'm not sure about the coffee served in paper cups, especially as it is priced just below a nearby venue that serves in cups or mugs. Lots of interesting pictures around the walls and a very clean, bright, seating area. Seating is available inside and out.
