Gorgeous location a couple of miles from Skipton. Free parking & a pleasant stroll around this small reservoir but the real challenge is to climb Embsay Crag which dominates the skyline. It's a tough walk to the top but the effort is amply rewarded by spectacular long reaching views. There is a clockwise circular walk (about 1 hour 15 minute duration) which begins from the car park via the crag but you'll need a 2.5 miles per inch map to follow the route.
