Giggle Alley is a lovely, though small, Japanese garden. Although it is only a short walk from the nearby car park, the hill to get there is quite steep and is therefore not suitable for those with mobility issues. There are public toilets situated at the car park.
The garden is, at least at this point in time, quite overgrown - navigating around it is quite awkward, particularly since the main small bridge in the centre is out of bounds due to to damage it has received - similarly, the only other bridge in the area is also missing some wood, and a bench you can sit on in the garden has similarly been destroyed by the elements. None the less, the garden still features some nice trees and plant life, particularly with the autumn colours setting in - a nice circular walk through the woods afterwards takes you back to the car park. Unfortunately, I can't rate higher than a 4, simply due to the damage to the features around the garden - considering there is no fee to visit, it's understandable, yet unfortunate, that these have not been able to be repaired/replaced as of yet. It still won't stop us from visiting again some time...
