Hamworthy beach — Attraction in England

Was quite disappointed. Loads and loads of little flies getting in the way of everything. Not much sand but enough to play. Not an ideal place for fishing. Amazing for paddle boats, floaties and inflatables. Great for kids. Walking the dog was difficult as there were loads of other dogs off the leash. Smells bad in some areas. Wouldn't recommend unless you're going to the park, taking a paddle boat or don't mind millions of flies interrfering your picnic. And when I say...

We came here as it was the closest beach to our camp site. Glad we did. It’s a small stretch of beach cladded with beach huts. The views were beautiful and being evening time it was relatively peaceful. There is a huge play park and paddling pool for litluns if needs be. Plenty of green space. Lovely park to walk your elderly, flat going and a snack bar as well! You can hire a beach hut in advance right on the promenade and watch the sail boarders do their stuff! You can park your car in the paid carpark in the middle or park on the west side in the residential area...
