It’s a fantastic place to get out and walk your dog, I’ve been there twice since moving to Paignton, and I kid you not I’ve got totally lost both times, it’s a huge area and there’s so many different paths to take. Sign posting for directions, are very far and few between, so a lot of incorrect guessing and wrong directions were taken, luckily for me, I met other walkers to set me in the right direction. The intent on taking my dog for a lovely walk through the woods, ended up being a literal hike, we were both very tired, but happy, when we finally found the car park. I wholeheartedly recommend taking your phone with you, for directions, if you’re unfamiliar with the area, just in case you manage like myself to wander off the path, unfortunately I had forgotten my phone on the first walk, the second walk it had fallen out of my bag in the car. I wasn’t worried about my dog getting too hot or thirsty as there are lovely streams for her to cool off in, however I was very thirsty and very hot, ( my own fault) It’s a really great place...

Really wonderful quiet space with a babbling stream. During/after wet periods it can be extremely muddy with large puddles and occasionally fallen trees across the path.
