Teessaurus Park — Attraction in England

Interesting to say the least. On the drive up to the Industrial site where this is located in, there were horses, all over, tied up, with no one in sight. Must of been 10 at least, weird, anyway........the park, great for kids and there imaginations. Small park with metal dinosaurs including t-rex, stegosaurus, triceratops, brachiosaurus and a wooly mammoth. If its wet, take wellies, some are on small hills, bit muddy climbing up. Each one has a small board with some facts of the dinosaurs, and are painted bright enough to keep the children invested, looking at them as you read it perhaps to them. There was a slide and a one of those things that you can sit on, you get dragged to one end, let go,and zipline down to the other end. Something extra for the visit, but dont expect to stay anymore than 20mins if not, subject to childs age. Ours is 4. Pay it a visit, avoid when Middlesborough football is on at home though, could cause you traffic...

What a great little place! And popular! Seems a bit randomly placed but worth a look. Leads into a walk along the river side. As well as the sculptures there is areas that have been planted/wilded to attract butterflies and bees etc. Today we saw loads of species of butterfly, some dragonfly and bees. It's well maintained around the area, with defined paths suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. You can scan and follow a trail on your phone which has more info about the area and quiz questions about the dinosaurs, which was quite fun to do. Shame people can't pick up after their dogs. One inconsiderate person had let their dog poo right next to one of the dinosaurs, knowing fine well children will be using the area. Very inconsiderate and lazy. Doesn't take loads of time to look round but it's free and you could always take a picnic and walk along the river walks to take...

What a great walk round these fantastic creations, it’s free parking in a very busy industrial estate. It’s great for the kids, but be aware, it’s very muddy after some rain. The dinosaurs are dotted about but all are visible on the route. If you want to walk further, the dinosaur park leads to the river. You can walk to the tees barrage from there, it’s a decent 1/2 hour walk, with interesting things to see. Look out for seals, etc. You can also get a good view of the Transporter bridge and Newport, and the Infinity if you walk a bit further. There is usually enough parking spaces, but there are no facilities.
