Thatchers Point…
Very lovely location set up in the what I like to call it “The Beverly Hills of England”. It took a lot of strain out of my 1993 BMW 318is (alpine white) when visiting Devon back in August 2022… However it was very much worth it because the view and ambiance was tremendous! A lovely stroll down the hill into the hedges and then you’ll see Thatcher’s Rock! A lovely walk and it totally costs nothing which is rare nowadays.    Read moreSerene & beautiful. Amazing views across Torbay. It's the closest you can get to Thatcher Rock without a boat! Normally quite quiet too. Next to Ilsham Marine Drive where all the Torquay millionaires live, so you know its gonna be nice.. No shops/cafes close though, so maybe bring a picnic. Be careful with young children as there is no fencing at the edge...
