Visit The Fun Drum is Chatham with us! All I can say is 10/10!! The soft play was sooo good with so many different bits inside; slides, climbing wall, monkey bars, ball pit, there is a football pitch and a Nerf Gun Arena. The tiny town they created was my favourite, there is a jungle themed room, a prison, a school, kitchen/supermarket type room, baby room, sensory room a construction area and a hairdressers, each had dressing up so your little one’s imagination can run wild! We had an amazing day and the best part is if you visit during the week (in term time) you pay and are able to stay there as long as you want, only on weekends and half terms is it session based. #softplay #softplaycentre #daysout #daysoutwithkids #spendthedaywithme #imaginationplay #dayoutwiththekids

I'll start by saying my kids enjoyed it, so my gripes are only from an adults perspective. We went on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't particularly busy. There's two sections, a 2-5yr old and a 6+ area. There's also a small track with electric cars that you pay £1 a go for. The 6+ area has a huge slide but that was sectioned off with no explanations so unsure if that's always the case. The two play areas are pretty small in comparison to other soft plays. The food is extortionate, there's also a sign saying no external food and drink. We got a "shard" burger for £7, doesn't come with chips and I actually burst out laughing when it was bought over, definitely not worth £7 (see photos)! Cups of tea were £2 each too. Definitely the most expensive soft play Cafe I've ever experienced. We wouldn't go back, there's plenty of other bigger, cheaper soft plays in the area.

Came today due to teacher strike, last minute decision for my 7 year to meet a couple of other school friends. My eldest daughter (13years old) came along to accompany me at the table, had no intention of playing, not only due to age (far too mature to join in) but also as everyone else here is much much younger - not one other teen to be seen in the vicinity, but that’s not the point, even if there was -she would not be joining in.

I have had to pay the 6+ fee (Ā£8.50) for my daughter to sit at the table with me, when I queried this, they said they can’t monitor that she isn’t going into the soft play area and she certainly can if she wants too. I had thought she would pay the adult fee like myself to be a spectator (which also was more than I thought)

It is very quiet here and we are sitting very close to the main reception area, anyone can clearly see she is not joining in on the childsplay and as she currently has her face in her phone whilst I type this, it is clear to see she has no intention to even make the money I have been forced to spend to enter worthwhile 🤣

I also have paid Ā£2.50 for myself to watch my daughter play too… so in total Ā£19.50 for one child to play with her friends, (mum and sister accompanying t sitting at the table).

Maybe they could put wrist bands on children that intend to play and monitor children who are playing with them on??? Or vice versa, people sitting down not playing wear wrist bands?? It is daylight robbery making someone pay full price to sit down at a table the entire duration, especially as times are so hard currently.

This has really left a bitter taste with me and I will not be returning and will encourage school friends to meet elsewhere without a blanket ā€˜one rule fits all’.

If it was busy maybe they couldn’t monitor everyone at all times, but I have never seen the place so quiet.

Maybe management need to review some of these Google reviews as it builds quite the picture...

My wife and two boys visited Fun Drum yesterday and within the smaller under 3's secure area nearest the reception I leant on a small wooden table as I was lowering myself to the ground. Unfortunately one of the legs broke off the table and I fell to the ground.

Kasha whom I assume heard the noise but wouldn't have been aware of what happened arrive within a few seconds. I guess she expected a child had fallen or something similar so I wanted to provide feedback on how quickly she arrived and attentive she was to my incident. If it were a child I would be equally impressed how quickly she got there ready to help.

Kasha asked if I were o.k. and took the broken table away saying not to worry these things happen.

Whilst im offering praise its worth noting Abbie who was in the same under 3's area a number of times clearing the toys regularly despite my joking "its pointless, kids will just mess it up again" I thought this was good and helped to keep the area tidy and inviting for kids.

I offered to replace the table, but the staff and now manager replied to my email saying it was perfectly fine.

We spoke with various other team members during our visit who were all pleasant and engaging. Many thanks once again to your staff and yourselves for a nice environment to bring our boys. Sorry once again for the table! See...

This is exactly what Medway needed! The newly refurbished Fun Drum! Now complete with a fantastic role play tiny town! Construction, beauty parlour, supermarket, cafe, school & police station. Perfect for your child’s imagination to run wild! This area is aimed at under 6’s. There is also a tree house, climbing frame & slide, play house, two rollercoasters and little tikes cars to wheel around the small tracked area! There is the newly improved soft play and slide area too! And also a fantastic looking Nerf Gun Arena!

Monkey Bizz is going to have to up its game if it doesn’t want to be left behind!

The role play area has a fantastic selection of toys, which the staff spend their time throughout the session tidying up, so that it’s ready for the next child to experience!

All of the staff that I spoke to today were absolutely lovely and they seem genuinely excited to have so many new visitors since the grand opening on Friday!

It’s always been on my list to visit here but I’ve never actually made it until today. I don’t know how different the soft play area is, but it appears to have been cleaned, repaired and replaced where necessary and is good for lots of ages! There are quite a few slides and ball pits!

They also offer packages for kids parties!

We will definitely be back very soon! Thanks for a...
