Pendennis Point is a place my wife and I have been visiting for 30 years. Its always a lovely place to park. Take a car picnic or on a lovely day there are plenty of places to sit and eat in the open. There is always an ice cream van on offer as well. While you eat or while the time away take a look at the views which are stunning. If you are lucky there is also dolphins and seals to be seen. No toilets on site though you will need to drive back into Falmouth or maybe nip down the coast. Parking is also free which is amazing these days. There is plenty of space however it can...

Heeeee I took my dog for a walk around Pendennis Point, on a very stormy day. We started off from The Falmouth Hotel and walked up to the view point overlooking Falmouth Docks. Then we continued around to Pendennis Point, but we did not walk along the pavement, we crossed over and went along a woodland walk that runs adjacent to the road, all the way around to the headland, so you don't get all the traffic. When we arrived, it was blowing a gale, but my dog loved it, then we continued all the way around, back to our hotel. We didn't go to the...

There are two large FREE carparks here (which are usually busy, but the turnover is also high so you stand a chance of finding a spot. You will see a good numbers of seabirds, seals and occasional dolphins and Basking Sharks. There are walks from the carpark but many come for an ice cream or a coffee and to enjoy the view for a few minutes. You can also walk here from Falmouth, but you must be moderately fit to climb the hill by...

This is one of those places where it becomes a family tradition that you have go to enjoy if you are in Falmouth to enjoy the 270 degree views, fresh air (or even rain!), watch the boats and ships passing or mooring in the bay, a gentle walk to the fort and fishing rocks beyond the car park - and of course the ice cream from which ever van happens to be there serving freshly made ice cream in '99's'. May I be able to do for many years to come!
