As cafés go this is your everyday English Heritage Cafe. We ordered a cream tea at around 1.30pm. The cafe was fairly busy (half the tables occupied) Staff were chatty and friendly but very slow in their service, taking 20mins to deliver our cream tea. The scones were supposedly freshly baked that day, but were disappointing as they were very hard and crusty and the cream serving skimpy.
