Fantastic park. Grandchildren loved it. Great play equipment and things to stimulate their imagination. We originally followed the Sat Nav and took the car down the lane but quickly realised that we shouldn't have. Turned round and parked in the village. Only major downside I would say is that there were no toilet facilities which no one else seems to have mentioned. I realise that this would be an extra expense for the community, but we would have loved to have stayed a bit longer. Read moreThis park is a credit to the village and it's residents a real hidden gem. Our last visit with the grandchildren was a joy as usual even though there was a cold Easterly wind. There were further improvements being made by a very friendly local in his mini digger and the new large wooden play unit is excellent. Great for all ages, lots of space and excellent for dogs with a fenced off active area specifically for them.
Only limit. I did find it annoying having to carry bags of dog poo and simultaneously enjoy being with my kids, until I got back down to end of road.
And don't follow SAT NAVs which tell you to drive up the road to park, as pedestrian or local access only....
