We needed a cafe which was next to the living sea centre, (in the same building) the actual centre was shut but the toilets were open. We couldn't believe we had to pay to park to quickly use the cafe, we went in at 2.30pm but could only have cake and drink as they shut at 3pm, the weather was awful and potential customers /walkers were being turned away at 2. 45pm, they wouldn't even sell the cold, wet, windswept people a hot drink. sorry but we weren't impressed with the customer service. While we were eating cake they were mopping the floor with strong smelling disinfectant, this wasn't unpleasant but made me feel uneasy and did override my senses while eating the cake 😂 I felt very rushed and not relaxed 🙁 we were on holiday and had been driving around in the awful weather looking for a nice cafe. We couldn't have asked for more, engaging children in the natural environment. The shop is small but nice and although their facilities are limited we could still finish off our visit with a cup of tea and an icecream! There's also really clean toilets. A great little spot if you love the outdoors but also need somewhere that's child friendly and...
