This is a lovely little place with great views of the Sea and South Landing at the bottom of the Road with some seating and a RNLI shop to visit ( open March to October ) Parking ( charges applicable ) and Public Toilets situated at the top of the Road . There are also some walks to access from the Car Park . The road down to the landing is fully accessible to Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters which as a Mobility Scooter user was Great and allowed ease of access to this Beautiful place which without this access you would not of been able to Explore . Once a month usually the last weekend , the Lovely Ladies at the RNLI shop Invite you to join them for Tea and Cakes , for a small Donation as a Fundraiser for the all important work that is done by our Amazing RNLI.

Read moreThe south landing car park is at the top of the hill. Has a weird pricing structure where two hours is 3 times the price of one hour.
Get over that and you can leave the carpark via the sculpture walk. Not that many sculptures left but still a short pleasant walk to the cliffs. When you get there a left turn takes you a few miles to the lighthouse. A right takes you back to the carpark or to south landing beach via some steps.
The beach is rocky with steep cliffs. You can walk to Brid on the beach. Check the tides first! There's steps up the other side of the landing that lead to the coastal path to Sewerby and on to Brid.
The RNLI has an inshore boat stationed here. Visit the small shop, buy some stuff for a great cause. The lemon curd is a favorite item of mine. A short steep walk up the road brings you back to...
Read moreThere's a fairly large car park at the top of the slope. Plus, toilets and a lovely coffee shop, Scrumdiddlyumptious by the Sea. The slope down is used by service vehicles so watch out for that if you have little ones or dogs. The RNLI have a lifeboat house at the bottom of the slope which has a small shop and sells ice creams. Keep an eye on social media for their occasional "coffee and cake" weekends. The beach has a pebbly edge and lots of sand, once the tide goes out! Terrific views of the cliffs and Bridlington in the distance. Great for kids and dogs.
