A lovely little tranquil town with a shingle beach, dog friendly at either end and has fantastic views! Plenty of space to sit and watch the sea and relax with an ice cream or a coffee! Just beside Littlestone is an absolutely stunning sandy beach call Greatstone. Greatstone has some beautiful dunes peppered with flowers to walk along and tiny shells to admire on the sand! Also dog friendly at either end. Just off the beach is a pub, a spar, which sells coffee , cakes, and pastries and a fish and chip shop. Both areas have clean toilets available by the beaches. Littlestone has a playground and an outdoor gym just back from the beach. Worth also noting both beaches are spotlessly clean. Definitely...

It's a long drive for us but well worth it. My photos are of the adjoining Greatstone Beach as well. A real long beach with pebbles and plenty of sand when tide goes out, which was every time we've been there over the years so far. There's parking that's free for Blue Badge holders. There are areas marked for dogs and where & when they're not allowed. Our pup loves running there. Pub nearby and Fish&Chips not far. Other shops & restaurants too. Another good sized carpark further up the road with toilets. Very quiet nice area. Great for beach walking all the way to Dungeness! So far as swimming I think you still can't at Littlestone, but when tides in I believe it's allowed...

Small play park, public toilet, Co op shop and an ice cream van that is a long wait but worth it. I struggled to finish mine. You'll definitely need napkins! If you're passing through locally it's worth a detour, just a shame about the...
