Column to British Liberty — Attraction in Gateshead

Nice big play area for the kids to play. Lively ground where you could spend hours walking along the Riverside or looking at the wildlife. They have a mini bus to run people from the bottom of the site up and down and to the stables which it great for people who are disabled or can't walk far, and there's some good history about the place. The mansion is no longer safe to enter or go near. And they won't every repair it either which is a real shame. It has spectacular views across the valley, would make a great restaurant...

Bit of a steep walk up to the column, worth it though, fantastic engineering, grassed area for kids...

OK walk there is stuff for the kid only down side is you have to keep the dog on...
