The art studios and attached cafe are a lovely place to visit, the artwork and gifts for sale in the shop part of the studio are excellent and of very good value. We called for coffee and cakes at the cafe, well within opening time, and were the only customers in, yet the staff seemed preoccupied with something else in the kitchen area and whilst we were served efficiently, it was not with a warm welcome and the other matter (whatever it was) seemed to dominate.
