Amos Lawrence Park — Attraction in Great Britain

Reasons why its not five stars - one star subtracted because you can really hear the A45 where ever you are in the park, there is no escape from the road noise. Another star subtracted as there is no lighting on the skate part of the park (or any other part of the park) so as soon as it gets dark, it's near pitch-black and you cannot see where you are going. Plus, there are no slabs/pavement in the park itself - it's all grass (or mud if you're visiting in December like myself). On the plus side there is free parking (though it's not the best well kept road surface) and you can see the Howdens Joinery - Distribution Centre. Not worth a trip from another county, but alright for a one time visit if you're in the vicinity. Hope the photos attach give you good idea...

It is a recreational park. Football pitches and football hut used by schools and local teams. Main use is for dog walking though. We go there every day. Not a 'garden', a small triangle which will be an orchard when the trees mature eventually. Not a place of interest to be honest. Just a field to walk around though good for us. No playground, no restrooms, no picnic area. Few benches and tables but...
