20 09 23 this time of year and especially today we are the only van here um hum. £7 for the night for Forestry and Land Scotland via the Ringo app. There are toilets one of which is for disabled, however there is no fresh water tap. The sea is right next to the parking area, thats either in the tree arwa or in the open. All park sites are hard surface, there are also skip bins gor rubbish. If you are swimming here, the sea is shallow for some distance even when the tide is in, but after a heavy storm you may get sewage here, leave it for at least two days before swimming. Please either take your rubbish and dog poo home or use the skip bins, thank you. There are good forest walks in the area, nearest supermarket is Coop Dunoon. Nearest petrol station is the Jet station just after you turn off the A815 T junction, fuel cost 20 09 23 £1.54 per letre.

The beach is tiny, the water running in to the sea stinks. My dogs smelt of fish and had to be washed several times when we got home. This would be ok if you had a camper van to stop off since it's cheap. The toilets were awful. There were a few camper vans already parked up playing music with glass beer bottles all over the floor. I would never return to this spot because of the smell.

Wonderful quiet beach, great rock pools when tide is out. Suitable for Kayak/paddleboards etc… Parking £3 all day or £7 for motorhomes overnight. Toilet facilities, picnic benches, BBQ spots available

Very quiet scenic area with calm beach area. Just a short journey up from Dunoon. Lovely hikes through the trees and paths along the waterside.

Ardentinny Beach is a sandy beach located on the western shores of Loch Long in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, and is the longest sandy beach on the Cowal Peninsula. It is known for its calm, clear waters, lovely views, family-friendly amenities like picnic benches and toilets, and nearby forest walks. The area is also a great place for wildlife spotting, with regular sightings of seals, porpoises, and various...

Ardentinny Beach, once a beautiful quiet sandy beach which has been ruined by social media posts telling people they can park their campervans for free (though I think there's a charge now). Now when you go there are on any given summer's day there are at least 50 campervans parked up with the resultant discarded barbeques, plastic bags full of rubbish and general waste lying around. Makes it look like a waste disposal site. Even in the winter it's not much better. Why can't people take their...
