My partner surprised me for my birthday by taking me to stay in Esmeralda for initially two nights. Let’s just say, she didn’t disappoint! It is exactly what I needed, privacy, secluded, calming, everything you could ask for after a stressful few months. The cabin was spotless when we came in, beautiful wooden interior with plenty of storage cupboards, allowing you to keep the place looking cute and homely even if you bring lots of stuff with you. The fireplace was well equipped with instructions, an initial bag of wood and fire lighters+matches. There was extra wood to purchase easily if needed. We also had complimentary cookies! They had organised with my partner to set up a happy birthday sign, a bottle of Prosecco, strawberries and a cake at his request. The bed and bedding was very comfy with plenty of fluffy blankets provided if you need extra warmth. We fell in love with the place and sent an email requesting a third night. She responded swiftly however her email didn’t get through to us (a data problem on our end!) but she was very responsive when we called to ask and absolutely lovely allowing us to stay a third night. The hot tub was fantastic, though it is pretty tough to find a healthy middle between boiling and cold! However that is to be expected for a wood fired tub and was not an issue for us, we weren’t the most experienced either but we managed just fine. We do not want to leave!

The animals are adorable, it’s so lovely to wake up and look out the window and see them grazing!

The bathroom is outside of the cabin so if you tend to need the loo during the night bring a torch and a warm coat. It can get quite chilly when you come out of the shower or tub so I’d recommend warming up the inside of the cabin beforehand so you have a nice warm room to dry in.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough, especially if you are a fan of peace, quiet,...

We recently stayed for a couple of nights in Esmeralda the showman's caravan at Bramble Hill Glamping Site in Filey, Yorkshire. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway.

The caravan is absolutely beautiful. It has been restored to its former glory and is full of character. There is a wood-fired stove in the living area, which was perfect for keeping us warm on the chilly nights. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a lovely outdoor dining area.

We loved using the wood-fired hot tub. It was the perfect way to relax after a long day exploring the area. The views from the hot tub are amazing, and we could see all the way to Filey Bay.

We also enjoyed feeding the goats and donkeys on the farm. They were so friendly and loved being petted.

The hosts at Bramble Hill Glamping were incredibly friendly and helpful via the Airbnb app. They made us feel very welcome and were always happy to answer our questions.

We had a wonderful time at Bramble Hill Glamping and would definitely love to visit again. Next time, we would like to stay in the double decker bus.

Here are some of the pros and cons of staying in Esmeralda:

Pros:

Beautiful restored caravan Wood-fired stove Well-equipped kitchen Lovely outdoor dining area Wood-fired hot tub with amazing views Friendly goats and donkeys Helpful hosts

Cons:

No TV or Wi-Fi (but this is not a problem for us) The caravan is a bit small for a longer stay.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Bramble Hill Glamping and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and...

Just back from an absolutely wonderful escape to Esmeralda the showman's wagon at Bramble Hill. The cutest, cosiest place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Absolutely immaculate, beautifully restored interior with all the essentials (and biscuits) waiting for us. Despite the dinky size we had a table to sit at, a sofa to relax on, plenty of storage and a separate sliding door/hatch bed chamber at the end for the best night's sleep ever. We'll definitely bring some food to cook on the outside stove next time too so we can sit out under the veranda for tea. Perfect plot at the top of the field with great views up the coast to Filey and Scarborough plus en suite donkeys! Hot tub was a real treat after walking down the coast to Bempton to see the birds and dolphins and lovely to cool down watching the evening light before heading out for tea. Lots to do in the area for families or old farts like us and it's trips and landscapes like this that make us wonder why we ever bother going abroad. 5G signal if you need it, but just being able to forget about everything in an absolutely timeless corner of simple comfort was such a tonic. Thanks so much to Rebecca and the team, we can't recommend the...

Bramble Hill Glamping is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the site. So much so we've returned for a second time.. The glamping pods are stunning, comfortable, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with all the amenities you could need. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature and the sites sheep and donkeys, yet still close enough to local attractions. The hosts are incredibly welcoming (leaving a little added touch of welcome cookies) and make you feel right at home, offering great recommendations for nearby activities. If you're looking for a unique and relaxing experience, I was lucky enough to learn the history of the site and the accommodations and this site is truly a labour of love and family. Bramble Hill Glamping is a must

BRILLIANT! We went for a weekend away in March and it was superb...honestly, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The most homely and comfortable shepherds hut with a private hot tub. The little touches like fresh milk in the fridge, and having the wood burner set up ready to light, were excellent. It's so peaceful, with views of open fields and donkeys and sheep (who love being petted!) Properly superb. Definitely going there again.

This was the perfect glamping site, such friendly and down to earth service, fantastic value for money. Everything was done to perfection even the Maryland cookies šŸ˜. The donkeys and the goats were super cute and the hot tub was a nice little treat.- also included in the price which is rare. I enjoyed my one night so much I was gutted to leave, perfect location for walkers wanting a comfy bed and a nice treat.
