We stayed at Meadowside Cottage booked through AirBnB. The host had though of everything we needed and this even extended to the dog :). We were greeted with a lovely welcome box containing tea, coffee, milk, and even wine, biscuits and chocolate! The cottage and the whole park was spotlessly clean and dog friendly. There are all the amenities you could want - a duck pond in a meadow, a kids play are, pool, sauna, steam room, sports facilities, boules court and all on the doorstep of a very clean beach which is sand and is not busy. There is a pub and Italian restaurant on site both offering lovely food at a reasonable price. The only fault is there is a chemist on site selling essentials like break and milk but i feel it needs a little shop and cash point as these are in the nearest town. Definitely...

It was horrendous. Literally there was no sand. Never go there. Half of the stupid water had random holes so you fell. The water was freezing cold. The worst part was the HIKE down. To be honest it should not even be called a hike it should be called a hell hike. The mud was so slippery you fell every time you walked on it. The time I was half way up my hands and feet were filled with mud like I could not even see my toe nails or my hand nails. This is definitely the WORST beach. NEVER EVER GO NO MATTER WHAT THE PICTURE SAYS. PLEASE I AM SAVING YOU...

First visit to the beach just off The Bay complex and was so pleasantly surprised and only a 5 minute walk from the main caravan park. Worth spending the full day and is a fantastic clean wide open space. The sea was inviting and safe and great for all the family. The views down to the beach were also stunning. Beware of the speed path just off the beach, this would be a little tricky for wheelchair users or if someone have difficulty walking.

Beautiful beach that is dog friendly too. Great for finding crabs in small rock pools and usually they can get caught in the grooves of the sand. Its great to walk down the beach and then stop for a coffee and cake at the cafe. There is a few jellyfish known to be washed up sometimes, so be careful walking barefoot or swimming (and be carefull of the live crabs!) For people with disabilities, access of the beach may be a little tricky.

A delightful little beach. Dog friendly. Access is a little tricky for people who have mobility difficulties, it is very steep. I visited every evening for a week it wasn't busy at that time. It was lovely weather and the beach was surprisingly clean even after a busy day of beach loving holiday makers visiting it.
