Was really looking forward to our visit here and was so disappointed. Sunflower fields were lovely but everything that went alongside just wasn't. Took prepaid/booked tickets to entrance to be met by a really unfriendly, rude woman who clearly didn't want to be there. I said it was first visit abd asked where things were to be told very abruptly that it was all very obvious then she moved me along. Soon as you walk through entrance there was a face painter Β£4 per child. Went to buy tickets from the tent (lady in there was lovely and if all staff had been like her our day and review would have been much better!) Face painter grumbled rudely about how much she hated painting faces throughout doing both children - to the extent that even my 5 year old noticed and asked why the face painter had been so grumpy and mean. Kids loved the various props along route for photo opportunities. We got to the sunflower entrance where I asked to borrow secateurs as advertised (which is a good service and a positive) also asked if there were any particular areas to pick from in case they were working as many other pick your own places to precent certain areas being over cropped - again another rude staff member who clearly couldn't be bothered who responded really rudely with 'well from the field obviously' Once we'd finished and paid for sunflowers, walked back along - mobile zoo but again lots of excessive hidden costs to stand next to tortises, hold snakes etc. Food van on offer with burgers etc but didn't try this so can't comment. Only toilets (portaloos) were after exit point - next to fairground rides with no prices up. So all in all, sunflower fields impressive, lovely to pick own sunflowers and have them so fresh. But day totally ruined by excessively rude unfriendly staff (with the exception of the one in the tent) and feel like with a ticket cost there then shouldn't be so many things to charge so highly for inside, becomes potentially a really expensive day out for very little return. Tickets should either be more with some free activities. Or the cost of face painting etc should be reduced. It was nice to see but totally put...

Donβt go on their social media just googled sunflower farm and east grange came up.
