Elan Valley (Cwm Elan) — Attraction in Great Britain

The area around the visitor centre and the dam is beatiful and lush this time of year. The visitor centre is small but neat and tidy, with a cafe, gift shop, small display on the history of the dam and toilet facilities (FOC). There is a large car park (FOC for the first hour and then £3 all day stay) and there is also a well kept, gated playground for children up to age of 12 on the other side of the visitor centre.
