Only 4 stars because I feel it needs a few tweaks. Booking tickets is definitely advised if people want to get there for when it opens. Tickets are £5 for adults and children over 2yrs and that cost includes one bucket of animal feed for each child. 1-2yrs cost £2 and under 12 mths get in for free. And I believe it's a 2 hour slot but they didn't seem strict on it so long as nobody took advantage which was nice. There are 2 toilets and one had a play pen if anyone was on their own but needed to use the facilities. The play/feeding areas are not a big but there are a few things for children to play on. I think the owners have tried to make sure different ages have something to play on but I would say some children over 12yrs may struggle to be entertained for a while. There is a small amount of free parking it is substantial enough and right next to the area your going to be in. There are table and benches scattered around the play areas and a small café that sells snacks and drinks with a small room if you wanted to stay inside for a bit. Prices are not too expensive but slightly more than I would normally pay. We took a small amount of snacks and drinks but still bought something as a treat. I would say that you can take your own food but nothing too big, so small amount of picnic food and kids lunch boxes but nothing elaborate. The tweaks that would have made this more perfect is cutting back of bushes and stinging nettles around the play areas, swings, and the odd bench. There was a swing set with a slide that had a very overgrown bush that was encroaching quite a bit. A bench that nobody could sit on because of greenery/nettles that were growing through the seat slats. A bit of a race track but Kids struggled to use the karts and trikes because the track was too stoney so the plastic wheels just kept spinning and the grass sections could be tidied up a bit. Sandpit was good with a few toys and a small digger. I would probably go back for a visit because you can sit and see pretty much all areas so kids can...

There is 3/4 small stables of lambs ready to share a warm bottle of milk through the metal fence (not on your lap). There were a few goats with their babies in a seperate pen which you can feed a small bucket of goat feed to them through the bars. Milk and goat feed are available from the little cabin at the entrance. £3 for a bottle of milk, £2 for goat feed. They have a card machine so no need to bring cash!
There is a decent sized park for the little ones to play outside, and a small cafe with outdoor seating. Toilets and outdoor handwash facilities available.
Overall, a good few hour visit if you've got little ones. There is an overflow carpark for when...
Read moreThis farm is great for younger children. They've thought of everything. You can feed the goats, calves and sheep. There are rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens too. The younger children can play in the huge sandpit which has lots of different toys. There's a small water play area with plenty of water and things to play with. There are lots of ride-on toys in another area. Swings, slides and climbing frames. There's a cafe if mums and dads need a coffee and a cake, which is really nice. They don't do meals or sandwiches but if you just want a snack it's ideal. In the disabled/baby changing toilet there is a potty a playpen and everything you need for a toddler and/or baby's toilet needs. We love bringing our 3 year old grandson here. It's well...
