What a wonderfully special place this is from the moment you walk in your greeted with smiles and great attitude from the wonderful people on the desk they offer all available activities throughout the day and assist on timings and location amazingly also there's food to buy for the animals though id recommend if your doing this to bring a few food bags as the paper ones dont last long in your hand
Clean and informative areas let you know of any issues and why you have to be clean hands ect very good facilities and some great music in the loos if you wanna boogie while you pee
We selected the ring tail Lima experience and from the very beginning the person who took us was amazing have us so much information answered my child's 7000 questions all with a smile she helped him with what they like to eat best and who to offer what to for the best experience she offered to take one of our devices to get much better pictures than we could and wow some of them are true today moments we can't thank her enough her name was EVE and if I where to come back for an animal experience I would be asking for her to take us without hesitation
The food from the cafe was really good it was fresh made and scorching hot when it came out it felt like a propper family dinner setting and would happily come back again for more food
The tractor ride was informative and an experience we had a lot of fun on I would recommend a racket if the weather is remotely turning you are open to the elements on that but it doesn't take from the experience
The wealth of animals there is incredible all very well cared for and looked after by the many hands they have with huge knowledge on all the different animals they have no one person specialised in a specific animal that sometimes happens
Over all it was a fantastic day out well worth what we paid for it and would happily go again and take friends A+++
Did I mention how awesome Eve was with our autistic son i think that's very notable she was...
Read moreThe animals are fine. The playpark is fine. It's the paying for stuff. On card an extra 50p. Go to the cafe, don't have cash? Don't worry - go back to the main office with the cost from the cafe, pay the cost (plus 50p) get a signed chitty and go back to the cafe.
Food is not included (even a small amount would be nice) with the entrance fee to feed the animals.
No rides are included - you have to pay tokens. That's fine. Not unusual. But if you do that you should make sure your staff know which rides need tokens or not. The tractor rides have a large sign making it clear that it runs independently of Green acres. So are the tokens accepted? I went to the shop where the tokens are sold and she couldn't advise me and said I should go to the tractor ride and find out. But I went to the shop as the queue was massive and I didn't want to waste time to fins out the tokens wouldn't actually be accepted!
In the soft play (requires a token, not included in the entrance fee) does there really need to have bangin' choons?! It's a kids petting farm ultimately - not Ayia Napa!
The cafe served a surprisingly fresh sandwich with a nice filling - but it took an age to arrive, plastic knives and forks - which we had to ask to be topped up (along with subsequent delay).
So it all just felt a bit of a swizz really. All the extra fees they kept on charging were reflected in staff training, better office admin, more included facilities and generally an improvement in the facilities (eg cafe smelt musty, lots of the buildings seem to be simple fabrications) I think it would be okay. But an over priced and under par...
Read moreThe animal park was amazing and great value for money and very thought out for little children’s entertainment and we have rebooked for Christmas because we had such a good day with lots of activities and it’s nice for the price to be included for once and not additional. The only thing I will make a point of is, the balloon lady queue was really big and instead of just making small and simple basic balloons she was doing huge big fancy things for children meaning every time we visited the queue it was around 20 minutes long. We arrived at 11am and then we left at around 2:15 but the balloon lady left at 2pm and after 10-20 minutes of waiting In the queue for the 3rd time that day after leaving because it was so busy my little boy was advised the lady In front was the last one of the day and she couldn’t just make a little simple balloon for him so I had around 15 minutes of crying continuously because he was so heartbroken everyone else was running round with a balloon and he couldn’t have one so we ended our day and left. This really made me angry and I’ve waited until I’ve calmed down to write this review as the other day I would have left 1* but we actually had a really good day if you take this out of the day. All in all we had a fantastic day but the balloon side of things is very frustrating and heartbreaking for little children and just needs to be re looked into so other families aren’t left feeling...
