I had a wonderful time at Gullane Beach with my daughter. It was easy to get there by bus from Edinburgh, and the scenery was stunning. The beach was clean and spacious, with soft sand and clear water. We saw some fantastic sea creatures, such as starfish, crabs, and jellyfish. There were plenty of facilities nearby, such as cafes, toilets and shops. We enjoyed walking along the shore, watching the birds and the golfers, and relaxing in the sun. It was a perfect day out for us. I highly recommend Gullane Beach to anyone looking for a beautiful and accessible seaside...

Gullane Beach is an amazing destination for a family day out! The expansive golden sands provide endless opportunities for fun and relaxation. While there are no lifeguards on duty, swimming can still be enjoyed safely with proper caution. Parking is available, but make sure to pay through the app or with coins. The icing on the cake? An ice cream van is always stationed nearby, offering delicious treats to satisfy your sweet cravings. Don't miss the chance to create cherished memories at this beautiful...

There is a car park (£2.50 for the day); newly refurbished toilet blocks with changing room and outside shower. In good weather there is an ice cream van. There is an accessible picnic area for disabled / elderly with a great view of the beach (walk past the toilet blocks). There are several tarmac paths through the bents (reedy, grassy areas), leading to a sandy beach. It’s a long beach so there is not likely to be overcrowding. Lovely cafe’s on the Main Street if you don’t want to bring a picnic.
