A Scenic Climb from Llwyb Cwellyn to the Summit ⛰️ 3,071 feet / 936 metres. We began our adventure from the Snowdon Ranger car park (£6/day, info board and basic facilities like portaloos), located right at the foot of the trail. The car park was already busy when we arrived. The Snowdon Ranger Path is the most scenic routes up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), and is ideal for families. Distance is 8 miles (round trip),it took us approx 7 hours. The path Begins with a steep zig-zag climb, then levels out before joining the Llanberis Path and gets more rockier and challenging near the summit. As we climbed, the views over Llyn Cwellyn were breathtaking. A beautiful day out with nature, hiking, bucket list ticked and just enough challenge to feel accomplished. If you're planning to hike it, make sure you're well-equipped and check the...

My first time using the Ranger Path. Not sure why this path isn’t very popular because it’s fantastic. Loads of parking available right at the beginning of the path, portaloos in the car park, information board there too. The route itself is pretty easy compared to other routes, suitable for dogs and children. The layout is easy to follow with signage and stone cairns marking the way. Spectacular views the whole way (weather depending obviously). This path joins onto the Llanberis path for the final push to the summit. Pay attention to the Copa summit stone markers at this point on your way back down, if you miss them it would be quite easy to miss the turn off back to the Ranger path on your descent, especially in...

I’ve competed snowdon 3 times this was the first time completing the ranger path. It was not easy (I am not the fittest hiker and did overpack) the views from this path are sensational and give nothing but clear thoughts and peace of the beautiful world we live in. I would hight recommend doing this if you’re up for a challange and definitely bring and friends and spare socks for the walk back down. Car park was very busy and is first come first serve basis. Cost £6 for the day so can’t complain as it took me and my partner 10 hours up and down with all the brakes and taking...

Amazing views from this path. Had read numerous reviews and descriptions of it. It is definitely the quieter path which is what we wanted above all else. The path is relatively challenging right from the start so it is a good idea to be quite fit but also to be prepared. It gets harder in the last 2km. The queues at the very top were a bit of a surprise - half an hour to take photos right at the summit. Amazing views. Well worth going! Souvenirs and cafe at the top.
