From the moment I arrived he was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. His friendly and easygoing personality created such a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Whether it was sharing stories, offering local tips, or simply being a kind presence, Warren truly added something special to my stay. You also can’t forget Kyran. While he was helping in the back most of the times whenever saw him he was very chatty in a good way. A Little touch up on the hostel wouldn’t harm though. Anyways, thanks Warren and Kyran for being such a great part of the experience!||Lucia, 14|Dear youth hostel Association|The place we stayed at was in an amazing place, beside the lake and the mountains. Read moreClean friendly slightly aged YHA. Friendly staff but strict about entry time earliest 5pm. No staff during day so cannot access during day-time unless you are already staying there when you get the combination code to the front door. This code changes daily. If you arrive early in bad weather, there is access at the side of the building to the drying room and a corridor with power plugs, but no access to the kitchen or phone etc. No mobile phone signal (there is phone signal in the paid car park 100m further along the road). WiFi in lounge, okay when not many people are on it, but almost unusable during the times when the reception desk is open (very very slow). Access via the cloud, so you just log on. No WiFi in rooms unless you are just above or are close to the lounge WiFi router. Licenced bar. If you want dinner or breakfast you HAVE TO order in advance. Packed lunches can also be ordered in advance. Like at other YHA youth hostels you have to bring your own bath towel or hire one (bed linen provided free). Staff arrive at about 7am.
