It's a great place for a quiet stroll. We went after everything was closed, but it was an amazing gem. The sun, the views, the atmosphere was just so relaxing. We will be returning when the activities and café are open. There are plenty of parking spaces and only a £3 charge. We went later in the evening, and I believe there was an hour of free parking, and then £3 after that, for the whole visit, please check this is right before staying. These are just some helpful tips concerning parking. You don't pay until you leave. There are no pay and display tickets as it's the ANPR cameras that take your photo upon arrival. They show you the photo of your arrival when you pay at the end of your visit, so remember to smile for them. You can pay by machine via debit/credit card opposite the toilet block, so there is no need to use those over complicated, useless text pay apps! Unless, of course, you know how to use said apps, in which case bravo to you. The sign states that you can also pay for parking with cash in the café or visitor centre during the opening hours. Again, please check where via the signs as I never used this myself. I highly recommend a visit, and I will be returning...

A really lovely place to go if you are into water sports. Paddle boarding and kayaking are used here. There is also a BMX track, One for the adults and one for the children or simply ride around the Dam. As explained the country park is built around Pembrokeshires largest Dam which supplies the fresh drinking water. It is situated at the foothills on the preselly mountains. When paddle boarding or kayaking you eill be supplies with wet suits and bouancy aids. In the country park there is archery and motorised six wheeler trucks for the younger ones. There is also a park for the kids to play in. Car parking is reasonable with your car receiving number plate recognition and you pay on the way out. We paid three pound for arriving at 11.00a.m. and leaving at 3.30p.m. Welsh water has invested four million pound in an upgrade to the country park and it has made a big difference. If you have come for the water sports or simply a coffee in the cafe the trip is well worth it. The views from the cafe alone...

I loved this place. The activity centre was clean and had good facilities for showering and changing after doing your sport. I was particularly impressed with the bike skills area and the kids had a blast. Our two 4 year olds only learnt to ride without training wheels the day before and mastered the mini track very quickly. The skills area has something for everyone as does the trails, absolutely brilliant to improve your riding. Parts of the trail is shared by walkers and riders so please be careful and respect the others choice of activity, we walked the path one day and rode the trail another. The visitor centre again was very clean. There is a small shop and a good size cafe great for cake after a day burning calories, or choose from a good menu. The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. If I lived closer I'd use this a lot, sadly we were just visiting while on holiday. I would highly recommend a visit. If any staff read this thank you for two...

It's a bit off the beaten path but well worth the drive here. Plenty of parking spaces, disabled bays all are paid parking which you can pay on the meter or on the app! £3 all day parking and card only. Toilets opposite the car park. Cafe and shop. Some areas disabled friendly. Loads of benches dotted about and plenty of bins for poo bags and rubbish so no excuses to dump anything! Activities can be pre-booked or booked when you arrive, we did an hour of archery and Alex the instructor was absolutely brilliant, not only was he knowledgeable, he was great with my teenagers, friendly and patient in guiding them and they really enjoyed their session. There is an adventure play area for the kids and even an enclosed dog agility course to keep your canine friends happy...if your four legged friends are anything like mine then they will just look at you like your daft if your go in there with them but we definitely had a laugh!
